Definition 

The term developer unit refers to the group of people entrusted with the responsibility of delivering working software that meets the needs of the customer by collaborating with them throughout the development lifecycle. Usually it consists a team of developers, quality assurance specialists, project manager, DB admins working together in cross-functional agile teams.
