Definition 

Kaizen is defined as the process of continuous improvement, which is a long-term approach to work that seeks to achieve small, incremental changes in processes in order to improve efficiency and quality.

Origin

A Japanese, word which literally means ‘improvement’, used in Software Development since 1980’s.
