Definition 

The term developer unit refers to the group of people entrusted with the responsibility of delivering working software that meets the needs of the customer, by collaborating with them throughout the development life-cycle. Usually it consists a team of developers, quality assurance specialists, project manager and database administrators working together in cross-functional agile teams.

Definition 

Continuous Integration (CI) is a Software development practice in which the developers integrate the source code into a central repository multiple times throughout the day. The check-ins are then verified by an automated build, allowing teams to detect problems as early as possible.
