Significance of Retrospective with Linda Rising

A retrospective is an opportunity for a team to learn and improve. In short, retrospective involves discussion on what worked well, what didn’t work well and what are we going to try to do differently? In our discussion with her, we spoke about Retrospective, what is not a Retrospective.She said having just a meeting is not a Retrospective, we need to involve the team members and start what you are doing.She con-sized on the different parts of retrospective.

She answered many of our questions on why is it important to do a Retrospective. She also emphasized on learning things and asking questions and one should themselves do a retrospective for better understanding. She spoke on organization perspective and many more.

What is Agile? Is it a practice, framework or mindset. Agile is core characteristics that any organization should have. Mike Leber is an Agile Coach, Systemic Coach and Executive Consultant. He has been practicing, coaching and teaching agile methods since many years. His main focus is on shaping adaptive organizations, crafting product innovation and Agile leadership. In our discussion with Mike Leber, we spoke about what is Agility, few tips on organization being Agile and many more. He said agility is all about having responsive mindset and people inside the organization will let the organization stay stable.

He highlights that employees in leadership roles helps in gaining stability in the organization which in fact gains productive/organic environment. He spotlights on Change management and re-inventing product or services in an organization. He also spoke about disruption, strategic alignment and many more.
