Meta Scrum | Glossary

Definition
The meta scrum is analogous to the Daily Scrum, at team level. It’s used in projects involving multiple teams, thereby scaling it for the purpose of coordinating resources and inter-dependencies. This meeting or forum, involves Project Mangers, Scrum Masters and Product owners.

Lean Software Development | Glossary

Definition
Lean software development adopts the principles and practices of lean manufacturing and implements them in software development. The core idea of lean, is to eliminate or reduce wastes and increase customer value. A lean organisation understands customer value and, emphasizes on putting the efforts in the right direction to maximize it.

Origin
The term lean software development originated in a book by the same name, written by Mary Poppendieck and Tom Poppendieck in 2003.
