Niko-Niko Calendar | Glossary

Definition
 The Niko-Niko calendar is used by Agile team,s to record the emotions of the team members on a daily basis at the end of the day. Over time, the Niko-Niko calendar reveals patterns of change in the moods of the team, or of individual members.

Origin
It originates from the Japanese word “niko” meaning “smile”, following a common pattern of word doubling in Japanese, “niko-niko” has a meaning close to “smiley” or “emoji”. It means “mood board”.
