Hypothesis Driven Development | Glossary

Definition

Hypothesis-Driven Development is the practice of the development of new ideas, services and products. These act as a series of experiments that eventually determine whether a desired outcome will be achieved. The process undergoes constant iteration until said desirable outcome is achieved, or is determined to be not viable. This process requires a flexible mindet, due to its experimental nature, and an understanding of the consumer mindset.

Water Scrum Fall | Glossary

Definition

Water-Scrum-fall is an hybrid approach that combines Waterfall and Scrum development methodologies in its approach to Application Life cycle Management. It is used for the development process for a software product as one large project. At the end of which, the team releases the working software to an operations team for install and maintenance. Only the business owner, or Product Owner sees the finished product. This is in contrast to an approach that only uses Scrum, or Agile, where work is done in sprints.
