External Stakeholders | Glossary

Definition

Stakeholders in Agile Projects, carry broadly the same definition as they do in Non-Agile Projects. They are parties who are impacted by the status of the Project. They can be both External (Shareholders, Investors) and Internal (Employees, Partners) in nature.

The key difference in Stakeholders in Agile Projects is that they are represented by one Product Owner, and the role is scalable as per the needs of the Project.

Non-Functional Requirements | Glossary

Definition

Nonfunctional Requirements (NFR’s) help define system attributes such as performance, security, maintainance, reliability, scalability and usability. Also known as ‘System Qualities’, they act as restrictions/ constraints on the design of the system across different backlogs. Equally as important and critical as functional Epics, Features, Capabilities and Stories, they ensure the effectiveness and usage o the entire system. Failing to meet even one of them can result in systems that fail to satisfy internal business or market needs.
