Rapid Application Development

Definition:

Rapid Application Development(RAD) was introduced in 1991, by James Martin. RAD’s approach to software development put less force on planning, and more force in the process. It has become one of the most popular and powerful development methods, that fall under the parental category of Agile Development Techniques.

Quick Design Sessions

Definition:

The quick session takes place between the developers and team, to discuss about the design using a whiteboard, and possibly CRC cards. Developers usually handle local design decisions moment-to-moment.
