Definition
Vanity metrics are  numbers intended to paint an impressive picture,as compared to Actionable metrics,that tie specific and repeatable actions,to observed results. Vanity Metrics include raw numbers,like page views,registered users of a website etc.,that produce big numbers that don’t always necessarily generate revenue.

Definition
A Use case refers to a list of actions or steps defining the interactions between a role, defined as an actor in UML and a system to achieve a goal. The actor can be a human or other external system.
