Conflict management is the process of limiting the negative aspects of conflict while increasing the posi tive aspects of conflict. The aim of conflict management is to enhance learning and group outcomes, including effectiveness or performance in an organizational setting.

A reinforcing loop is one in which an action produces a result which influences more of the same action thus resulting in growth or decline. There inforcing loop is one of the two foundational structures of systems thinking, the other being the Balancing Loop.
