Definition:

Bug tracking is a process used by quality assurance personnel and programmers to keep track of software issues and resolutions. A bug tracking system is generally put in place to store information about reported bugs. this kind of issue-tracking system provides a transparent, centralized overview of development requests and their corresponding states.

Risk Mitigation | Glossary

Definition:

The process by that a company introduces specific measures to reduce or eliminate unacceptable risks related to its operations. Risk mitigation measures are often directed towards reducing the severity of risk consequences, reducing the probability of the risk materializing, or reducing the organizations exposure to the risk.
