Being a Women Business Leader with Melissa Boggs

A business leader is someone who motivates a group of people in order to achieve a common goal in a company. Anyone with the right skills, regardless of their position in a company or organization, can be a business leader. In a recent Interview with us, we featured Melisssa Boggs where she  shared how she became a Business Leader. She shared her experiences and roadblocks that she encountered. She also shared her insights on cultivating our own leadership style.

She also highlighted the impact of post pandemic situations for the organizations. She discussed “balancing personal and professional life” while we work from home and many more interesting tips and facts on mental health and happiness.

Melissa Boggs is a keynote speaker, Employee Engagement Coach, and host of the “Wild Hearts at Work” Podcast. She has been described as a “spitfire”, a “calming force” and “an unapologetic rebel.” 

She is an executive with a background in leadership, business, and product development. A Certified Enterprise Coach with an MBA, also helps leaders and employees bridge the generational, cultural, and societal gaps that exist between them, increase their engagement, and introduce joy into the workplace. 

She is a former non-profit executive and board member, having served on the Board of Directors for both Scrum Alliance and Agile Denver. In addition to countless agile and HR conferences worldwide, She has been a speaker at the 2020 World Business and Executive Coach Summit and the 2021 Women-tech Conference and was also featured in Business Coaching, BAI Emergence, and Authority magazines.

Leadership and Managing People with Johanna Rothman

We often talk about Management and Leadership. Management focuses on planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling whereas Leadership is about providing a high-level vision for the teams to attain a common goal. We have recently featured Johanna Rothman in a video interview with us where she shared her expertise on important aspects of Management. She shared her distinguished thoughts on leading and serving as per her experiences while working with teams. She says we need to lead people in order to serve our customers.

We also discussed the important aspects of “Innovation” and “Building the environment in an organization”. She also highlighted that having short feedback loops will help us learn faster and touch upon a very talked about topic – hiring during a remote environment.
