Strategic Agile Transformation with Karl Scotland

In a recent interview with us, we featured Karl Scotland. He is an Agile Transformation Services Practice Manager at TEKsystems Global Services. He shared his wonderful journey on why he chose Agile as his preferred field of expertise. We discussed different ways of implementing Agile strategically. Karl shared his unique experiences and said all the organizations should look at Agile strategically which helps the Agile Transformation become easier.

He shared a few tips on strategic deployment for professionals. We also discussed the Cynefin framework briefly, its importance while practicing and challenges. He also highlighted his views on how the present and future of Agile is going to be.

Karl Scotland helps businesses become Learning Organizations. Over the last 20 years he has been an advocate of Lean and Agile approaches to achieve this, working with companies including the BBC, Yahoo!, EMC Consulting, Rally Software, Cisco, SDL, Legal & General and Alegis. During this time, he has been a pioneer of using Kanban Systems and Strategy Deployment for product development, a founding member of both the Lean Systems Society and Limited WIP Society, as well as being active in the community and a regular conference speaker. As a result he was awarded the honorary Brickell Key Community Contribution Award at the 2013 Lean Kanban North America conference.

Business Growth, People and Profit with Rahul Dewan

We have recently featured Rahul Dewan in a video interview with us where he shared valuable experiences. He answered many of our questions about business growth, people and profit. He shared his experiences during his entrepreneurial journey. He says the most important thing for a business owner is to find revenue predictability. He spoke about different business models and unpredictable situations that he had gone through.

He answered many of our questions on how one can control work pressure and emotional well-being. As per Rahul, there is no better way than meditating to come out of work pressure. He shared his experiences of  managing risk in a business and how an entrepreneur can come out of challenging situations.

Rahul Dewan is the founder of Srijan Technologies, a mid-sized global consulting company with expertise in building and modernizing digital systems in Enterprise Content Management, Data Engineering DevOps and API Management. He has also been a speaker and a panelist at various events such as AgileNCR, NASSCOM, Drupal Camp Singapore, at colleges including MBA School of IIT-Delhi, among others.
