In our recent interview, we have featured Sandhya Vasudevan to discuss how is banking industry affected by the number of Fintechs increasing and what future holds for Banking sector in India.

Interviewee: Sandhya Vasudevan

Sandhya is a Senior Advisor, Managing Director ex-Deutsche Bank. She has played many roles within Deutsche Bank: the latest being the Divisional Control Officer for APAC & Globally for Corporate Services [Global Procurement & Real Estate]. From 2014 Sandhya was the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Deutsche Bank Group in India. She was also the Chief Risk Officer for the bank in India for a few years. Prior to this she was Head of DBOI [ Deutsche India Private Ltd wef from April 2021] while also being the Global Head of Business Engineering and subsequently Global Head of Strategy and Architecture for Process.

In our recent video interview, we have featured Ashutosh Dabral who was the CPO at MoneyTap and 2 times startup founder in the past. This discussion highlights the reason behind India’s fintech firms taking giant strides in the past half-a-dozen years in transforming financial services delivery. 

There was a significant impact of covid-19 outbreak on Fintech firms, and Ashutosh shares his experiences of how Fintech emerged and grew in this period catering to customer requirements efficiently. He also shared his view on Fintechs rise above the traditional banks in the coming few years. According to him there will be a collaboration between both instead of a competition to serve the customers.

Ashutosh has 19+ overall experience 15+ of product management experience across big tech firms and startups. In the early stage of his career he also spent a few years in banking at ICICI Bank. He has worked at companies like Yahoo, Dell, Target and AOL. He has product management experience in various domains like consumer internet , ecommerce and Fintech. He is passionate about building new products and improving the life of customers. 

He was the CPO at MoneyTap and 2 times startup founder in the past.
