Taking the Right Risks in an Enterprise with Alexei Zheglov

There is no reward without taking risks for a business. The most important question to answer is – ‘How to take the right risks?’. We discussed the same in detail with Alexei Zheglov. He mentioned that we first need to acknowledge that running an enterprise is about taking risks and understand that risks turned into gains and losses.

Enterprises want to avoid situations where losses exceed the gains. Alexei recommends to look at the risks that had already been taken and understand the nature of those risks. Also, he shared insights on skills required to manage change, common obstacles to change initiatives and change as an improvement.

Alexei Zheglov is a well-known Management Consultant. He specialize in the Kanban method and Enterprise Service Planning (ESP). He is a co-author, with David J Anderson, of the new book Fit-for-Purpose: How Modern Businesses Find, Satisfy & Keep Customers and has another book in progress. He has also helped grow the Kanban community globally through his client work, developing many better managers, leaders, and coaches.

Key Catalyst for Performance Improvement with Teodora Bozheva

There is a constant discussion around doing more and doing better across various industries. In our interview with Teodora Bozheva, she explains under pressure to deliver quickly people typically cause errors. Establishing criteria and policies is also important to ensure quality of work. Her favourite part of being a coach is motivating organisations for the improvements they can achieve, also getting results after difficult decisions.

She speaks in detail about key catalysts for performance improvement in the ogranisations. First, people should be motivated to undergo change and should know what is being aimed to achieve with the change, according to her. External catalyst is the need in the market.

Since then the company delivers certified Kanban training, coaching in developing business agility with the Kanban Maturity Model (KMM) as well as Integration of management tools with Kanbanize.

She has more than 15 years of experience in leading organizational change initiatives. Teodora delivers Kanban and KMM training to companies and professionals in Spain, Europe, the United States and South America.
