Scott Ambler is the Chief Scientist at Disciplined Agile, Inc. He works with organizations around the world to help them to adopt agile and lean strategies across the enterprise. We started off our discussion by understanding how can we approach innovation effectively to succeed in today’s world. He says innovation varies organisation to organisation. One can drive innovation by understanding what customers want and how you can delight them.

In order to manage change in an optimal way, Scott says just assume change will happen and embrace this fact. Don’t get invested in your ideas and strategies, since you need to constantly shift with it.

He has served on the Board of Directors of both the Agile Alliance and the Agile Leadership Network, and was a co-founder and Conference chair for several of the Agile20XX conferences.
