In an interesting interview with us, Amy Jo Kim discusses how game thinking and design thinking are different from each other. Design thinking involves rapid iteration and empathising with customers and figuring out what customer needs. According to her, game thinking embraces all of Design Thinking but it also adds progress and mastery which comes from gaming. Three element that takes game thinking beyond design thinking are;
1. Who you focus on when empathise?
2. A path to mastery
3. A learning loop
