Kanban Practitioner | Glossary

Definition

The Kanban method is an approach to manage the development process, with an emphasis on completing tasks efficiently without overburdening the development team. A person within a software development or any production environment who uses the Kanban method to efficiently manage tasks, is called as a Kanban practitioner.

Origin

The Kanban method originated in the 1940s, introduced by Toyota, which was later adopted into Software Development in the 2000’s.
