Alpha Tests | Glossary

Definition:

This is a form of internal acceptance testing performed mainly by the in-house software QA and testing teams. Alpha testing is the last testing done by the test teams at the development site after the acceptance testing and before releasing the software for beta test.

Ad hoc Testing | Glossary

Definition:

AD HOC TESTING, also known as Random Testing or Monkey Testing, When a software testing performed without proper planning and documentation, it is said to be Adhoc Testing. Such kind of tests are executed only once unless we uncover the defects.
