Dark Launch | Glossary

Definition:

Dark Launch is a process where software is gradually or stealthily released to consumers in order to get user feedback and test performance . A go-live strategy during which code implementing new features is released to a set of the production environment however isn’t visibly, or only partially, activated. The code is exercised, however, in a very production setting while not users being tuned in to it.

Definition:

Green building is the practice of creating structures and the application of processes that are responsible and resource-efficient  throughout a building’s life-cycle: from planning to design, construction, operation, maintenance, renovation, and demolition. This practice expands and complements the classical building design concerns of economy, utility, durability, and comfort. Green building is also known as a sustainable or high performance building.
