We are glad to announce Thriveni Shetty (HR Consultant at INNOVATION ROOTS) as a Presenter for the SAI Day meetup, which is going to be held on 17 Dec 2016 at at Icreon Communication, Noida, India. Thriveni Shetty is currently leading the HR practice at INNOVATION ROOTS with overall 9 years of work experience in field of HR.

In this session, the presenter Thriveni will give you a brief introduction on Kanban and how  to use Kanban in Teamwork, and why?. You will learn how Kanban Principles can be introduced and how to get started with preparing your first post card in Kanban game. The Project Managers, Product Managers, Human Resource Managers, Team Leaders and Team Managers indulged in any software related projects will learn how to visualize and manage their daily work flow, WIP limits, and the benefits of implementing feedback loops.

At the workshop, participants will experience an interactive yet fun infused session where they learn in-depth about Kanban, Kanban Practices and Principles through the Kanban Postcard game. It is a simplified way of learning Kanban especially for those who are new to learn Kanban, and having trouble in getting started with the Kanban approach. Participants will learn the advantages of implementing Kanban in their organization such as driving down the cost and wastes by improving the flow of work in the system.

It’s a great pleasure to announce a workshop on SAFe PO/PM which will be held on October 15-16, 2016 at Bengaluru. The workshop is presented by Priyank Pathak (Curator at INNOVATION ROOTS), an Enterprise Agile Transformation and Continuous Delivery Consultant dedicated to provide training, mentoring, and coaching services to companies gain outcomes like quality, value and continuous flow.

In this two days course, the participants will learn about the roles and responsibilities of Product Owner and Product Manager, drives the delivery of value in an organization where SAFe is implemented. The participants will get an overview of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), carry a Lean-Agile Mindset, and understand how the Product Manager and Product Owner roles operate in a SAFe Enterprise.

Finally, the participants will get in-depth understanding of activities, tools, and mechanics that directly affect the delivery of value in system. The workshop also teaches participants to identify the major components of SAFe framework, key roles and responsibilities  within a SAFe implementation, connect SAFe framework with Lean-Agile Mindset and Values, and how to apply Value Stream strategies to manage Solutions and Values.

By the end of the workshop, the participants will be able to write User Stories, Epics, Features, and Capabilities related to the SAFe context, and gain a solid foundation to manage Backlogs and Program in a Lean-Agile Enterprise.
