Product Owners (PO) role is one of the important role in Scrum, and at the same time, most misused as well. Most so-called Scrum teams have reduced the role of a PO to a mere requirement donor and thus weakening the Scrum framework. In complex product development environment, apart from taking accountability of the ROI of the product, needs to ensure teams get needed support. Large-Scale Scrum (LeSS) which is based on hundreds of experiments have identified 5 key relationships that product owner needs to maintain, and their relevance in product development scenario.
